Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Growl Audio and our plug-ins

General

What plugin formats are supported?

All Growl Audio plug-ins are available as VST3 and AU. They work with any DAW that supports these formats, including Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Reaper, Cubase, Studio One, and more.

What platforms are supported?

macOS (Intel & Apple Silicon), Windows (64-bit), and Linux (64-bit). See the documentation for detailed system requirements.

Are all plug-ins free?

Some plug-ins are free and some are paid. Pricing is listed on each plug-in's product page. Free plug-ins have no trial limits, watermarks, or feature restrictions.

Do your plug-ins collect any data?

No. Our plug-ins do not collect telemetry, usage data, or any personal information. They have no network connectivity. Your audio never leaves your machine.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. There is no license activation, registration, or online requirement. Download, install, and use — that's it.

Can I request a refund?

Yes. All payments are processed through Paddle and are fully refundable. See our refund policy for details.

gFractor

Is gFractor really free?

Yes. gFractor is completely free with no trial limits, watermarks, or feature restrictions. You can optionally support development through a donation.

How do I set up sidechain input?

Route a signal to gFractor's sidechain input using your DAW's routing. The method varies by DAW — check the documentation for setup guides.
