Growl Audio started with one person: a developer who plays, and a musician who writes code. I spend my days moving between an IDE and a DAW, and Growl Audio is what happens where those two overlap.
It isn't a solo act. A small circle of friends — producers, mix engineers, and developers — test the builds, argue about the defaults, and tell me when something feels wrong. gFractor started as a tool I wanted for my own mixes, and it got sharper because they wouldn't let it ship half-finished.
Everything ships and stays supported across macOS, Windows, and Linux. When you email support, it still reaches me.

Our Mission
Growl Audio lives where programming meets music production.
Drawing on both, we'd rather invent something new than digitally rebuild vintage
gear-finding fresh approaches in step with technology.
What We Do
We design and develop audio analysis and processing tools that give musicians deep insight into their sound. Our first plugin, gFractor, is a full-featured spectrum analyzer with M/S, L/R, and Transient/Tone analysis modes, oscilloscope, and stereo tools — available on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
Our Approach
Every feature we build starts from a real production need. We focus on clarity, performance, and workflow — no bloat, no unnecessary complexity. If it doesn't make your music better, it doesn't ship.
